Dear Prospective Sunbridge Students,
Every day, Waldorf teachers create lessons that integrate storytelling, drama, rhythmic movement, the visual arts, and music, weaving a tapestry of experience that brings the subject to life in the children’s thinking, feeling and willing.
This way of education requires the teacher to unfold his or her own creative engagement in art, speech, movement, language and music. Thus, Waldorf education draws upon the thinker, the artist, the scientist, the poet, the environmentalist, and the musician in every teacher. Waldorf education demands the best in its teachers, and Waldorf teachers draw out the best in their pupils.
Students come to Sunbridge at many ages and from many career paths, but they all have in common a desire to find a vocation that will draw upon all their abilities and talents, and give them room to apply those talents in service to improving our world. We invite you to learn more about us, and to join us!
