Holder House Many of Sunbridge Institute students are seeking to integrate idealism, ethical insight, and spiritual practice into their vocational development and everyday lives. Services provided by Sunbridge Institute and the surrounding community intend to support students in their studies, research and personal development.  Bookstore The Sunbridge Bookstore carries a large variety of anthroposophical books, textbooks and reading material that faculty require as course readings in the programs. The Bookstore is conveniently located in the Threefold Community at:  271 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977 Housing Student Housing at Threefold is open to students enrolled at Sunbridge Institute or the School of Eurythmy. The Student Housing Committee works to support your studies here with housing options that give you the opportunity to create and nurture community life. Our staff and budget are small, but we try to provide a healthy environment, based on mutual understanding and respect.  Holder House Most students live in this main dormitory with 40 single rooms, built in 1991 through a partnership of Sunbridge and the Threefold Educational Foundation. Residents share the use of four kitchens, 13 bathrooms and a coin-operated laundry facility. The Residence Manager is responsible for the dormitory with the help of several student assistant managers. At times during the school year, empty rooms are made available to participants in workshops, conferences and other events. In the summer, the dormitory is reserved exclusively for conference participants. For more information about Holder House and student housing please use the navigation bar to your left. Area Hotels The Comfort Inn on Route 59 in Nanuet, NY, 1(800) 462-6838, offers a Sunbridge Institute discount.  Other nearby hotels are: Fairfield Inn (845) 426-2000 Wellesley Inn (845) 368-1900 Some meals are available in the Main House dining room. A whole foods cooperative and a number of casual restaurants are within walking distance. Library The Sunbridge Institute Library is a circulating library for the use Sunbridge students, Eurythmy Spring Valley students, and local community members. The Sunbridge Library offers: A comprehensive collection of works by Rudolf Steiner in English and German An up-to-date collection of books on Waldorf education and resources for Waldorf educators Books by anthroposophical authors, anthroposophical periodicals and videos Reserve materials for Sunbridge courses Master’s theses and dissertations about Waldorf education An expanded reference collection of bibliographic tools for researching the writings of Rudolf Steiner Computers with internet access The Library is located in the Auditorium Building above the Sunbridge Bookstore at 260 Hungry Hollow Rd., Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977. Cafeteria Some meals are available at the Threefold Cafe on the main campus.. A whole foods cooperative and a number of casual restaurants are within walking distance. Sunbridge Institute does not offer a meal plan.

Orchard House Once the home of Charlotte Parker, one of the Threefold Community’s founders, retains a home-like atmosphere. The Fiber Craft Studio of the Threefold Educational Center occupies what were once the living and dining rooms. The other rooms are usually reserved for returning eurythmy students and occasional visiting faculty. Those with families or exceptional housing needs should consult their school’s office. Both Sunbridge and the Eurythmy School keep lists of rentals in the greater community. Note that housing is in short supply; you should put your request in as soon as possible.
